Canada, as a major immigration country, has a variety of immigration methods, including investment immigration, entrepreneurial immigration, skilled immigration, reunion immigration, etc. and various pilot immigrations. Every year, new immigrants from all over the world come to settle here. Canada takes an active and open attitude towards immigrants, and even proposed the “Three-Year Million Immigration Plan”, hoping to receive more new immigrants. The Ministry of Immigration has not stated that it will change the acceptance target of the 2020-2022 immigration plan, which means that it will accept more than 340,000 immigrants each year in the next few years.

Provincial Nominee Program

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is an accelerated immigration pathway to essentially obtain permanent residence status in a particular province. PNPs are a two-part process. First, you have to apply to the province for your provincial nomination. Provinces and territories — excluding Quebec; it uses a different immigration selection system — can nominate candidates to target priorities. Then, if you are approved by the province, you have to submit a second application to the federal government for your Canadian permanent resident status.
